Dr Maryam will assess the areas of concern, discuss what is achievable, and explain exactly what the treatment involves. We will never pressure you to proceed — we go ahead only when you are fully comfortable.

The injections themselves take only a few minutes and are well tolerated — most people describe feeling a small, brief pinch. A very fine needle is used to place the product precisely into the targeted muscles. There is no numbing cream required, and you will be in and out quickly.

There is no downtime. You can return to normal activities straight away, though we advise avoiding intense exercise, alcohol, and lying down flat for a few hours after treatment. Some small bumps or mild redness at the injection sites are normal and settle within an hour or two. Full results develop gradually over 7 to 14 days.
7–14 days to settleTwo-week review
Once the product has fully settled, we invite you back for a two-week review. This gives us the chance to assess the results properly, check you are happy, and make any small top-up adjustments if needed. Getting the result right matters more to us than simply completing the appointment.

Yes. A natural result is always the goal. Dr Maryam uses a light touch and precise placement so the treated muscles are relaxed rather than frozen. You will still be able to smile, frown, and express yourself — the lines will simply be softened.
Results develop gradually over 7 to 14 days as the product takes effect. You will begin to notice the muscles relaxing within the first few days, with full results visible by the two-week review appointment.
Results typically last between 3 and 4 months, after which the muscle activity gradually returns. With regular treatment over time, many patients find that results last a little longer as the muscles weaken slightly with repeated relaxation.
