Dr Maryam then uses a fine needle to place small amounts of filler precisely where needed — whether that's adding volume, defining the border, or improving symmetry. The whole process is methodical and unhurried, with results visible immediately.

Some swelling and tenderness in the first 24 to 48 hours is completely normal and settles quickly. You can return to your day straight away. We advise avoiding intense exercise, alcohol, and extreme heat for 24 hours. Your lips will look their best once any initial swelling has settled — usually within a few days.
